Sale of Real Property at Public Auction<br>

The Board of Education of the Hardin-Houston Local School District will be holding a public auction for real property owned by the Board and located at 10207 State Route 47 in Turtle Creek Township, Shelby County, Ohio, commonly known as the former Hardin Elementary School, tax parcel number 48-18-29-353-002, containing approximately 14.432 acres, inclusive of the improvements thereon.<br>

The Live auction will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 (with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.) and will be conducted live on-site at the location of the property: 10207 State Route 47, Turtle Creek Township, Shelby County, Ohio. <br>

Method of Sale: Property is being sold on an as-is where is basis subject to School Board confirmation. The Board shall have the right to accept, reject or counter-offer all top bids for a period of 72 hours following the conclusion of the sale.<br>

Deposit: A $ 5,000.00 earnest money deposit in the form of cash or check made payable to Re/Max One shall be required upon the execution and acceptance of the memorandum of auction sale agreement following the conclusion of the auction. The earnest money deposit shall be returned to the bidder upon successful closing of the property.<br>

Other Terms of Sale: 10% buyer’s premium will be charged and added to the final bid to determine full contract price. The full balance of the purchase price will be payable at closing, in cash or by cashier’s check, with the closing to occur no later than December 2 2013. The Board shall deliver possession of the property to the purchaser at closing. The sale of the property shall be “AS IS.” The auction shall be further subject to all terms and conditions more specifically outlined in a Terms and Conditions of Sale document that is available for review by prospective bidders.<br>
